Kanagawa prefecture is in the southwestern part of the Kanto region, in contact with the south of Tokyo. It is known for Yokohama with Chinatown, Yokosuka for port town, Kamakura with big Buddha etc. There are also quite high mountains in the inland area, and resort areas like Hakone.
It is mild and rainy, it is an industrial area, a large commercial city, a prefecture where agricultural areas and nature coexist.
