Gunma prefecture is surrounded by beautiful nature that is varied, including mountains in the 2000 meter class, wetlands such as Oze, many lakes and valleys including Azuma Gorges and Tone river. There are also many hot springs including Kusatsu, Ikaho, Minakami, and Shima.
In addition, Gunma prefecture has various kinds of local industries including textile, woodworking and food, making full use of regional resources such as natural environment and cultural history.
